To provide document search and indexing functionality, the Application may process and transmit:
Text extracted from documents using Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
Metadata generated from extracted text
Search indexes and AI-generated embeddings derived from the extracted text
These data are used solely to provide document search, indexing, and related Application features.
The Application may automatically collect certain technical information, including:
Device model
Operating system version
Application version
IP address
Device identifiers where applicable
Date and time of access

Authenticate users
Store and synchronise documents
Extract text from documents

The Service Provider does not sell your personal information.

Your documents and related data are securely stored using Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.

The Application relies on trusted third-party services to operate.
These services may process information necessary to provide their functionality.

Each third-party provider maintains its own privacy policy governing its handling of data.
The Service Provider may share information only in the following situations:

The Service Provider does not sell or rent your personal information.

User-generated content remains stored until:

Delete individual documents directly within the Application.
Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Upon receiving and verifying a deletion request, the Service Provider will delete your personal information unless retention is required by law.

The Application and its third-party services may use technologies similar to cookies for authentication, security, and service functionality.

The Application stores users' original images, PDF documents, and locally created notes on the user's device.
The Service Provider does not maintain cloud backups of these locally stored files.
Users are responsible for maintaining backups of their documents. If documents are deleted, the device is lost, damaged, reset, or storage becomes corrupted, locally stored files may become permanently unavailable.
The Service Provider cannot recover documents that exist only on the user's device.
If a data breach affecting your personal information occurs, the Service Provider will provide notifications as required by applicable law.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically.
Material changes will be posted within the Application or otherwise communicated where required by law.
The updated Privacy Policy becomes effective on the date shown at the top of this document.
